When faced with an old abuser - Free At Last!

I recently was driving past an old abuser that I haven't seen in years. The thought of this person would usually cause the beginning of a panic attack. This day....a complete non-response. No palpitations, racing thoughts.....waiting to freak out.

For the firsr time in my life I wasn't afraid! That person no longer has power over me! It is very nice to be free!

@janedoe2 I am glad to hear that you feel this is a liberation. How brilliant to feel free of that link to panic that has come up before!
