Taking a relationship to the next step, so anxious!

Hi All

I have been dating a single Mum of a 4 yr old for 5 months.

I told her last night that I could see a future with her and I could be a supportive partner...she has been dealing with custody issues with her ex.

Anyway, she's unsure because she wants stability for her child... I know that I could be that for them and I have def fallen for her.

How do I approach this?

I have anxiety, depression and adhd and I'm really struggling with waiting and really wanting her to just try with me.

Thanks all

Hey @Leelea ,

Thanks for sharing. I hear how waiting can be so hard. Yet I also recognise she is unsure, especially as she is still going through custody issues.

Would you consider letting her know how you feel in that you share what you have typed? That is, "You can really see a future ahead"?

I look forward to hearing from you.
