Re: Daily Achievements!

sounds like you should de-stress somehow @Glisten  nothing worse for brain than stress sometimes. esp when becomes fatigue. drink lots water ? breathing? get ontop of sleep? gon on sleep meds for few weeks maybe to re-set? see dr?

Re: Daily Achievements!

@TAB  I can wholeheartedly reassure you that I have done and am doing all of the things on your list.

Drink 2 litres of water

Box breath work & 4 - 7 - 8 in the sauna

Have sleep meds

GP follow up in 2 weeks

I was having trauma responses until I started on new medication.

You got to remember I was in a psychologically, emotionally and financially abusive relationship for 13 years.

I’ve got to give my lawyer as much ammunition as she needs.

Re: Daily Achievements!

okay, well maybe make a cut-off date for the self-pressure. do you have one ? @Glisten  not very understanding of me, guess make hay while sun shines re brain then, try to use it when it works, say 2am maybe or whatever then dont the other times

Re: Daily Achievements!

@TAB  my daughters are taking me out tomorrow night. Drinks, dinner and then ARC Led Zeppelin IV at Perth Concert Hall.

I don’t think we will get too messy 🤔

But it will release some pressure.

Getting out of bed and having a shower is a massive achievement and I’m so proud of you for achieving this feat! Sharing your achievements here is also great and inspiring so well done!

Long time no post for me - sorry!

Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve achieved the following things:

- Purchased a new iPhone

- Got my practical placement organised at a local aged care facility to start on Monday for 5 weeks

- Made a complaint about a customer service member and advocated for myself to get a resolution over the iPhone sale

- Took meds

- submitted my leftover tafe assessments

- Completed 4 adult and baby knitted beanies for charity

- Watched the NRL state of origin on tv

- Watched Brisbane Lions win over Melbourne in the AFL on tv

- Helped my housemate with her tafe assessments

- Completed some personal development training

- Spent time reading reading a novel

- Paid off my cruise holiday for September

- Cooked chicken risotto for dinner

- Took photos of my cat for my sister and sent them to her

- Tried to reconnect with my estranged father to no success but at least I tried which is the main thing

- Watched several episodes of Gossip Girl season 2 on my iPhone via the Nine now app

- Signed up to Apple TV for a free three month subscription

- Purchased a new Fitbit and got it set up on my iPhone via the app which took 4 attempts to get it working

- ordered my food groceries from Woolies and Coles to be delivered to my home

- Started a new knitted blanket for charity using wool in my wool bin

- Posted on facebook

- Downloaded the new Casey Barnes and Taylor Swift albums to my iPhone

- Collected my placement book from my tafe

- Helped my sister with a mental health emergency and taught her some new coping strategies without the need to resort to tablets

- Decided to look at completing my mental health course next year as it will benefit my studies in aged care.

Take care and stay safe!
