@Birdofparadise8 whatever is easiest for you my princess 👸, I don't mind.
It's admin with a transport, or trucking company. It is entering details of freight to create a manifest for the drivers taking freight to different towns and mine sites in WA. The manifest is a list of the freight with a consignment or order number so that like stock control the freight matches what the customer has ordered. There's other stuff too but it would bore you silly if I tried to explain it! A lot of data entry and general admin work, phone calls, emails etc.
I'll get paid for the time I work and once I know what I'm doing it will get better. It's rather disorganised too so once I've been there a while I will be offering suggestions to streamline things.
I wish you could feel better. It's tough having those feelings and trying to find something that works for you. At least you'll be working soon (I'm sure of it) and you'll be occupied. How long is the uni break for?

Congrats on getting the job @ENKELI ! Sorry, I only just read it 🙂

Ah okay do you like that type of admin work @ENKELI?
It's a good idea to help with streamlining things more. Fresh eyes can see things in ways people don't expect.
I do, too, @ENKELI. Yes, the journey to learning new things to help distract. Hahaha, thank you. I do hope I get this job. I have my last exam on the 14th of June, and I think we go back on the 29th of July, so nearly seven weeks. It's a long break—too long, really. I would prefer to go back sooner than that, but then, if I do get this job, I can work a lot.

Thanks @tyme, yes it was a bit unexpected as I didn't apply for it, the company HR manager found me on Seek. First day today, lots to learn but I'm confident it will be a decent workplace.
Hope things are going well for you 💕🤗🙏

@Birdofparadise8 I've done administration in one form or another for a long time, it's what I know. I wouldn't say I love it but I am happy doing it. I don't know what I'd do if I wasn't in admin. I've always been very quick to learn new programmes and systems and I don't get bored if the role has different aspects to it.
Wow that is a huge break. As you say at least you'll be able to work during that time and you'll be able to keep busy.
It's good to have a few interests like you do so if you don't feel like one there's something else you can do.

You were at Telstra most recently, weren't you?
Oh no, there is nothing wrong with admin; I meant the mining area, like would you prefer medical admin, etc. I know for myself I like patient contact so being able to help the patient is really lovely.
That's cool you got picked up on Seek.
I know a very long time, hahaha.
Yes, exactly, that does help. @ENKELI
Did you find anything to watch on the tv?

@Birdofparadise8 I am watching a series on Disney, Children of the Underground but I'm not really focussed on it.
It's not mining admin hon, it's transport. Most mining admin is FIFO and I never wanted to have to work 12 hour days for 7 - 10 days straight and then have several days off depending on the swing (shift). I did have most of my career with Telstra, I enjoyed it until I didn't and I got asked if I wanted to work up north. There are some days I wish I'd stayed with Telstra but I don't regret the experience I got working for a member of parliament.
What are you watching? You'll be getting ready to go to bed shortly 😥

No apology necessary princess. I'm watching Yukon Vet now, I love animal shows.
I hope you sleep well and have a good day tomorrow, I'm going to take a couple of painkillers and lie down.
Love and hugs, talk tomorrow 💕👑💐
