Access to GP's that understand mental illness

I'm looking for a GP in the Banyule area that has an understanding of bipolar disorder. It would be particularly helpful if the doctor bulk billed.

Hi @Ann-marie

Thanks for your post,  it would not be appropriate for another contributor to give out names of specific doctors as this is against the forum guidelines.

However it might be a good idea to contact your local community mental health organisation, they often have lists of GP's who work specifically with clients who may have mental illness.

Hope this helps!

Mostly I have had to phone and ask receptionist or doctor directly. I work through lists but the best experience is your own ... Good Luck
