Re: Daily Achievements!

Good evening @SmilingGecko @TAB @Oaktree @Who-Knows @espressologic @tyme @Shaz51 @Former-Member @RiverSeal and all forumites here tonight. Well done on all of your fabulous achievements over the past few days!

Over the past long weekend here in Melbourne, I’ve achieved the following things:

- Had a shower

- Took meds

- Watched the movie Inside Out on TV on Saturday night

- Watched my Brisbane Lions win over the Western Bulldogs in the AFL on TV on Friday night

- Completed a knitted baby cardigan for charity along with a beanie

- Remained calm when dealing with my sister today when I collected my cat from her house

- Fed my cat

- Booked my cat into the vet for tomorrow after noticing she had a minor eye infection

- Took 2 bags of cans to the collection depot for some money

- Looked over my emails

- Watched some of the French Open semi finals

- Worked on my crochet blanket

- Did some grocery shopping at the supermarket today

- Helped my housemate with things after she was released from hospital on Saturday

That’s all from me.
Take care!

Judi9877☺️

Re: Daily Achievements!

Great stuff @Judi9877 I don't know what it is which hormones get released after a completion of goals but it always feels good yeah? I like how we can feel good about by doing things we need to do. Some kind of endorphin rush or something. Hello @Glisten on the way through! Good luck today @TAB

Re: Daily Achievements!

today I

- called Centrelink and remained calm on an 1.5 hour call

- borrowed the book for the non fiction book club I joined

- emailed the detective for an update on my mums missing person case

Re: Daily Achievements!

I am new to this site and I have been scrolling through the discussions and I came across the " Daily Achievements ".

I almost cried.  What a fabulous post. As a person who has been dealing with chronic depression,  PTSD,  anxiety and panic disorder for 24 years,  I  am so proud to see people encouraging and supporting our small Daily Achievements.  Fantastic job to everyone who is struggling but managed to push through and achieve something today.

Today I have - had a shower ( I struggle with this when I am quite unwell)

- swept and mopped the house

- talked to some friends.

I look forward to following others Achievements on the wellness journey.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Aww yay @dehaha it warms me to know how meaningful this space is for you! Kudos on your achievements today 😊

I think celebrating the small wins is so important. Like we can berate ourselves over a simple mistake, so we should also get to praise the little successes with just as much fervor!

Anyway, glad to have you with us, hope you find it to be a warm and welcoming community!

Re: Daily Achievements!

@dehaha 👋🏼 Welcome to the forum.

You achieved good results today 🎉

Be kind to yourself.

Getting out of bed shower and teeth 🏆😁
