Accommodation

Hello

my sister lives in Melbourne. She has suffered from psychosis for 22 years and has been off any medication for the last four years. Recently she moved from her long-term rental apartment to a shared 4 bedroom unit. This did not go well and she was asked to leave after only 3 weeks. I would like to know if anyone can put me in touch with some temporary or short-term accommodation in the SE suburbs of Melbourne. She really needs a studio unit or 1 bed apartment.
Many thanks

Re: Accommodation

Hey @Jez13 welcome to the forums 😊

I'm not too sure of anything specific but I wonder if any of these resources might be helpful;

Wellways Program - https://www.wellways.org/our-services/doorway

Launch Housing - https://www.launchhousing.org.au/homelessness-services/crisis-accommodation

Uniting - https://www.unitingvictas.org.au/services/homelessness-housing/community-housing/emergency-housing/

Housing Vic Gov - https://www.housing.vic.gov.au/crisis-emergency-accommodation

It sounds like a pretty challenging time. How are you going yourself?

Re: Accommodation

Thanks basil.

I’ll check out some of these sites. I appreciate your help. Thanks for asking and I’m doing ok. It’s been frustrating trying to help my sister make rational decisions. I’ll keep keeping on though.
