Delusional disorder

How to get someone with delusional disorder to take medication, go to GP & psychologist

Re: Delusional disorder

Hey @Marie30 thank you for your post and reaching out to the Forums!

It can be challenging when supporting someone who doesn't want to seek treatment which is totally their choice. People generally need to want to seek treatment for it to be effective or for them to engage. You are clearly a caring and loving person and sometimes that's all you can do for someone. I encourage you to also take care of yourself and seek support if you feel it would be beneficial: Helpful Helplines for Carers - Carer Help

Please stay connected here on the Forums and let us know if you questions, and we will support you.

Take Care
