Re: Tabaluga's

Okay y'all

Iv asked a question on Quora about liberal versus labour thinking of

@avant-garde

And this is the Ais response before people answer me as what happens with questions posted on Quora  -

Key Achievements of Anthony Albanese

  1. Climate Policy:

    • Albanese has committed to reducing Australia's greenhouse gas emissions by 43% by 2030, compared to 2005 levels. This contrasts with the previous government's more conservative targets.
  2. Economic Recovery:

    • His government has focused on economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing measures to support businesses and workers.
  3. Wages and Job Security:

    • Albanese has emphasized increasing wages and improving job security, advocating for fairer workplace conditions.
  4. Indigenous Rights:

    • The Albanese government has committed to implementing the Uluru Statement from the Heart, which includes constitutional recognition for Indigenous Australians and a Voice to Parliament.
  5. Healthcare:

    • Increased funding for healthcare, including mental health services, has been a priority, aiming to improve access and affordability.
  6. Education:

    • Albanese has pledged to invest in education, particularly in early childhood education and TAFE (Technical and Further Education) institutions.

Comparison with the Liberal Government

  • Climate Action: The Liberal government had a more cautious approach to climate change, often prioritizing economic growth from fossil fuels over aggressive climate targets.

  • Social Policies: The Liberal government focused on budget surpluses and tax cuts, often criticized for not addressing social inequality as aggressively as the Labor Party.

  • Indigenous Affairs: The previous government was more hesitant to engage with Indigenous issues, whereas Albanese's government has made it a central part of its agenda.

  • Health and Education: The Liberal government faced criticism for perceived underfunding in health and education, while Labor has promised to increase investment in these areas.

Summary

Albanese's government represents a shift towards more progressive policies in climate action, social equity, and Indigenous rights compared to the previous Liberal administration. His administration's focus on economic recovery, job security, and public health reflects Labor's traditional values while responding to contemporary challenges.

Are artic penguins coming north @TAB

Re: Tabaluga's

@PeppyPatti

....

Ok let's break this down

I'm all for AI but it takes the thought out of it, it is all dependent on the sources they go to and how much is on the internet regarding certain parties. Given that labour is currently in office you'll be getting an unfair comparison between labour and liberal because it's comparing all they've done and pledged to all liberal could do.

I think it's also fair to say that the liberal government I think have recognised that they need to take some cues from Labor in regards to healthcare, that our system needs help and they have something right with bulk billing and mental health.

Notice though that it doesn't mention housing and unemployed, both are just the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. I'm all for job security but what are they doing to keep people safe.

Personally I have my views and I know some of them would be disagreed with here so I don't tend to mention them. The point is neither government will be perfect but I know which way I lean.

Hello @StuF . My day isn't going great.

How is your day going?

Re: Tabaluga's

Hi @Gremlin24

Sorry to hear your day isn't going well

My day is ok. Had work this morning. A shorter shift than some recent ones. Just at home now.

Re: Tabaluga's

@StuF maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Shorter shifts can be nice unless you wanted it to be longer. Hope you have a good rest of the day.

Re: Tabaluga's

Thanks @Gremlin24

Hoping the same for you
