partner closing off acess

Our child was admitted to hospital due to an existing condition. We are very concerned about their welfare, but their partner is completely non communicative (refuses to ans phone etc) and we dont know how to find our how our child is doing. And what we can do to help

i dont know what to do, every time i try to talk about it, things become worse. But doing nothing seems giving up

Hi @emj I'm really sorry to read that you are feeling lost regarding what to do to support your child.

It is a tricky situation and, as we cannot provide advice on the forums, all I can say would be to contact agencies that do support carers. Examples include your local Carers Australia or Tandem (both open during office hours) and see what they say.
